Developed by Dr. Adams and his team of associates, the Mother-Enmeshed Men workshops create a unique healing process for those with specific therapeutic needs and are held at the beautiful Colombiere Retreat and Conference Center in Clarkston, Michigan. Workshops have been designed with the same attention to detail and compassion Dr. Adams has ensured in his southeast Michigan practice and in his previous work at Life Healing Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
This workshop for Mother Enmeshed Men (MEM) has been held twice a year since early 2014 and has become increasingly popular. In fact, every session we have had to turn away those men who waited until the last minute to make the decision to attend this life-altering event. Mother-Enmeshed Men
Men who have had an enmeshed relationship with their mother struggle with a range of problems regarding commitment, self-esteem, sexual dysfunction, over-caretaking, and addiction.
This workshop enables them to:
- Identify the trappings of enmeshment;
- Understand the impact of enmeshment on their erotic template;
- Cope with underlying anger & guilt;
- Develop strategies to help them to break free from inappropriate loyalties and learn to live within healthy commitments.
