I believe the BCP is a wonderful program that opened my eyes to issues and problems I had been denying for years. It benefited my recovery because I now know my relationship with my wife was heading towards a disasterous end. I feel this program has stopped that course and given us the tools for recovery and comunication that will last a lifetime.
Kenneth M. Adams and Associates proudly introduces a new program exclusively for Spouses and Partners of Sex Addicts (SPSA) to help them to overcome the trauma and betrayal of a loved one’s sex addiction. While some treatment models may encourage a partner’s participation in a sex addict’s behaviors (e.g., going along with porn use), our focus validates the partner’s Complex Partner Trauma (CPT), helps them heal, and encourages healthy decisions for their own lives and relationships. Our therapists are Certified Sexual Addiction Therapists (CSATs) and have been trained to treat CPT.
HEALING TRACK FOR PARTNERS
PHASE I
Beginnings Care Program Eight-week program of education & support to move forward from betrayal and trauma. Participation is also open to sex addicts so they can understand the impact of their actions and how to resolve conflicts.
PHASE II
Impact Zone Group Ten-week therapeutic group designed to help SPSAs delve more deeply into the impact of sexual betrayal.
PHASE III
Healing Zone Group Open-ended SPSA group focusing on longer-term consequences related to Complex Partner Trauma (CPT). Integrates healing strategies to gain a better understanding of thoughts, emotions and behaviors.

Specialized Individual Treatment
We have therapists specially trained to offer individual treatment of Complex Partner Trauma (CPT). We are also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), a technique to assist in healing trauma.
